Georgia MCDC 2009 Initiatives Calling All Patriots - Volunteers are Needed!!!
1)- Our first priority is to strengthen GA's Illegal Immigration Bill - SB529. We must make face to face contact with any Legislator willing to sponsor amendments to SB529.

We will be diligently trying to get a meeting with one or more senators and the Governor.

Legislators prefer to have meetings with their constituents, so we need your help to get appointments - we will meet them at the Capitol, their District Office, or any location of their choosing. To get a meeting with a senator or governor or congressman, you must call the scheduler of that office and make an appointment, it often takes 2 months to get that. Legislators usually have town hall meetings when they are on break, call their office and find out if they have any open meetings when at home in their district. You will have a better chance if you DO NOT tell them you belong to the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. when you call, you can do that once you get your meeting.

Our presentation will be concise and articulate, so we must work to get it down to 15 minutes. You do not want to ask for longer, you will have a much better chance to get to talk to them then. (Legislators have tight schedules).  15 minutes is all they should ask for, it will be plenty of time to educate a legislator on ways to strengthen GA's law.

2)-We will plan group visits to county/city meetings, to educate them on the threat of lawlessness, and what they can do to protect their citizens.

Stay tuned for a schedule of meetings.

Volunteers will be needed to make sure our message is carried to all 159 county Commission meetings and a myriad of City Council meetings.

3)- Enhance our image-(for example an adopt a mile program) for the upcoming spring.

We'd like to start with an area near Cobb County Sheriff Neal Warren's headquarters on Roswell Street in Marietta.
